I saw this Flame Skimmer Dragonfly at Wintour Nursery in Redding California while visiting family. They are so fast, all I got was a pretty blurred photo next to their pond of Koi. I found a photo online to complete the drawing. I am going to keep doing studies of dragonflies for World Watercolor Month in July.
