The City of Ten Thousand Buddhas is an international Buddhist community and monastery founded by Venerable Master Hsuan Hua. It is located in Mendocino County, California, and spans 700 acres of orchards, meadows, and woods. The site includes a Buddhist temple, K-12 schools, and an organic farm. It is also one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in the Western Hemisphere.
This morning, I visited the gate and took a picture to use for this painting.
