This painting of the Love Lock Bridge in Strausburg, France is an example of the Freedom to experiment (Datsuzoku) principle of Japanese art. I rarely try architectural subjects and experimenting with the locks on this bridge was a challenge for me. I saw them on a trip down the Rhine River in late May of 2025.
