The prompt today is “geode” which I don’t own or have a picture of, nor do I want to paint one. Instead, I am continuing to paint my “Lark Ascending” painting and starting on the background. The sky and ocean’s first layers have been applied, and I am keeping them subtle, and hoping to express shibui (subtlety) to keep the focus on the lark.
