Laura Holmes Peters and I had an inspiring visit with Barbara Nechis on June 6, 2018 when we visited her studio in Calistoga. Not only is Barbara a warm and welcoming host, her artistic view of the world is awe inspiring and has me thinking of taking my flowers and landscapes in a slightly abstract direction. Step one from her book is “developing independence” and this will be my theme for June and I will focus on using imagination and intuition.
